Since design is the major selling point of these computer speakers, I thought it would be best to start me review here! The Soundsticks II like all 2.1 systems, consist of two small computer speakers that act as satellites and a sub woofer unit!
The satellites can stand on any flat top surface and each consist of four smaller speakers! The second component of the Harman Kardon SoundSticks II system is a big, bass adjustable six inch sub woofer that features down-firing at the bottom!

They may be some of the best pc speakers on the market, but they’re not without their flaws! First of all, all this beauty and performance comes at a pretty high price! If looks and design aren’t that important to you, then perhaps you should consider cheaper options! Also, there’s no off switch to this device! Like I said, when idle or in standby mode they glow with a purple glow, when you play music or something like that, the speakers will just start working.
This might sound cool, but it’s not good for neither the environment, nor your electrical bill! If you want to turn them off, you have to unplug them from the power outlet! Finally, the touch sensitive volume controls will get some time to get used to, which may annoy your neighbors a bit! All these aside, i really think that Harman Kardon SoundSticks II are the best computer speakers and amazon has the best price through this link.
